
- Indigenous Lagosians, under the group Omo Eko Pataki, have declared their intention to use all legal means to prevent what they describe as a "duplicitous manoeuvre to impose another non-native" as the Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU).
- The group, led by Major General Tajudeen Olanrewaju (rtd), expressed strong disapproval of the potential appointment, viewing it as an attempt to sideline qualified Lagosian natives.
- This comes after Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu received a report from the Special Visitation Panel to LASU.
