
- The Lagos State Government has launched two new Coding Centres in public schools, set up by 9mobile as part of the CodeLagos initiative.
- The programme, run by the Lagos State Ministry of Education, aims to make coding education accessible to every student in the state, and the government is calling on the private sector to join the effort.
- Speaking at the launch held at Rabiatu Thompson Memorial Primary School in Surulere, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Obafela Bank-Olemoh, reiterated the government’s commitment to training one million Lagos residents in coding.
