- The Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has reaffirmed that the dismissal of its former registrar, Mr Olatunbosun Odusanya, strictly followed due process.
- The institution’s management stated that relieving Odusanya of his appointment over allegations of illegal recruitment of 337 staff and other misconducts was carried out in line with extant laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Contrary to Odusanya’s claims of a witch-hunt, the university insisted that his termination was executed by the University Governing Council—not management—based on proven allegations of misconduct.
