
- The University of Ibadan (UI), through its COVID-19 Response Committee, has produced and distributed over 2,000 face masks to members of the university community and neighbouring areas.
- The initiative aims to ease the financial burden of purchasing quality masks for those who need them most.
- Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research, Innovation and Strategic Partnerships), Professor Olanike Adeyemo, explained that the university recognised the difficulty many people face in affording good face masks.
