- Taraba State Workers Embark on Indefinite Strike The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) in Taraba State have initiated an indefinite "no pay, no work" strike, protesting the state government's refusal to implement the N30,000 national minimum wage.
- The labour leaders, NLC chairman Peter Jediel and state TUC chairman Sule Albasu, stated that Governor Darius Ishaku's perceived insensitivity to the long-overdue minimum wage has left workers with no alternative but to cease work.
- "We are coordinating all civil servants in the state to comply 100 per cent with the strike action," the labour leaders declared.
