- Prominent figures appointed to lead these councils include former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Attahiru Jega.
- Also appointed are Senior Advocates of Nigeria Wole Olanipekun and Yusuf Alli, former Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Peter Okebukola, and labour activist Issa Aremu.
