
- The Nigerian government has initiated a nationwide skills acquisition program aimed at empowering approximately 2,000 Nigerian returnee migrants and persons of concern.
- The initiative, organized by the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants & Internally Displaced Persons (NCRMI), seeks to provide valuable vocational training to foster self-reliance and discourage perilous journeys abroad.
- Margaret Ukegbu, the South-West Zonal Head of NCRMI, announced the program at the opening of a five-day training session in Surulere and Yaba, Lagos State.
