- The decision was disclosed in a circular signed by the institution’s Deputy Registrar (Academic Affairs), Abdullahi Muhammad, and was communicated to both staff and students.
- It followed recommendations by the Academic Board after thorough reviews of reports submitted by two panels — the Fraudulent Admission and Related Matters Investigation Committee (FARMIC) and the Examination Misconduct Cases and Malpractice Committee (EMCMC).
