
- The executive members of the National Union of Bauchi State Students (NUBASS) have formally requested that Nigeria's leading anti-graft agencies investigate alleged financial misconduct by the Union's National President, Abdulrahma Shu’aibu, and the National Financial Secretary, Salim Yakubu.
- The union specifically called for probes into what they describe as "serial corruption allegations" involving these two leaders and a sum of N15 million.
- In a petition submitted to the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) in Bauchi State, NUBASS asserted that the accused leaders purportedly diverted union funds into their personal accounts.
