- In a significant turn of events, the recently conducted resit for the Unified Tertiary and Matriculation Examination (UTME) has seen a remarkable increase in the number of candidates achieving scores above 200.
- Following a series of technical and human errors that affected the initial exam, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Examination Board (JAMB) organized a resit for approximately 379,000 candidates, primarily from Lagos and the South-East states.
- The results, released on Sunday, revealed that the number of candidates scoring below 200 has decreased from over 1.5 million to 1,365,479.
