- Justice Demanded Over Alleged Hijab Discrimination at JAMB Centres The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has demanded justice for female Muslim candidates, including the daughter of a broadcaster, who were allegedly prevented from entering JAMB Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres due to their hijab.
- The incident came to light on Thursday, April 11, 2019, when former broadcaster Sulaiman Aledeh tweeted that his daughter was asked to remove her hijab before being allowed into a JAMB examination centre in Lagos.
- He noted that his daughter was not the only one affected, as other students from a Muslim school were also denied entry.
